2008 LRC PLAYER PACKAGE

 

The Lethbridge Rugby Club always welcomes new members. All players must be registered with Rugby Canada in order to obtain coverage under Rugby Canada Insurance Program and be eligible for LRC games.

 

The following forms must be signed and returned with payment:

 

Rugby Canada Registration Certificate

1)    Personal Information Box (name, age, address, etc.)

2)    Category of Membership (age group of player and level)

3)    Category of Position (any other positions in the LRC)

4)    Registration Information (club: Lethbridge Rugby Club, sub-union:

Calgary Rugby Union, provincial union: Alberta Rugby Union)

5)    Date and Sign (if player is under 18 years of age, a parent or guardian needs to sign)

Rugby Canada Transfer / Release (if player is registered with a different club)

1)    Complete the name of the team / club from which the player is to be released or transferred.

2)    Complete the name of the player requesting the release or transfer.

3)    Check Transfer to, write name of club: Lethbridge Rugby Club and union Calgary Rugby Union.

4)    The player must fill their box and the President or designate of the club or team from which the player is being transferred from must sign their box.

Lethbridge Rugby Club Waiver

    Name, date and sign. If a player is under age of 18, a parent or guardian must fill out the form with their name, date and signature.

Lethbridge Rugby Club Bingo

          Senior players must select three dates to do bingos.

          Junior players must select one date to do the bingo.

 

PRACTICES:

 

All practices will be at the LRC field, corner of 9th Ave. and 36th St.

 

 

Senior Team        starting April 1st, Tuesday and Thursdays.

                             6:30 – 8:30 pm

 

Junior Team       starting in the 2nd week in June. (After the high school season)

 

Mini – Rugby      starting April 14th, Monday and Wednesdays.

                             5:30 – 6:30 pm for ages 8 – 12

                             6:30 – 7:30 pm for ages 13 -15

 

 

DUES:

 

Senior Team        $250 before March 1st    plus $5 a game due

                             $300 after March 1st      plus $5 a game due

 

 Junior Team      $150                              plus $5 a game due

 

Mini – Rugby      $80

 

 

BINGO’S:

 

Senior Team        must attend 3 bingo’s (please select your dates, or they will be assigned to you)

 

Junior Team       must attend 1 bingo (please select your date, or a date will be assigned to you)

People doing a bingo must be 18 years of age or older. People who fail to attend

Their schedule bingo will be fined $50 for that event and will not be able to play until their fine is paid.

 

 

Also we have a major fund raising event in July. The Street Machine weekend is where we do security for the Back Street Pub. This 3 day event (July 11-13) has 5 sessions, 2 Friday, 2 Saturday, and 1 Sunday. Everybody is expected to do a session.
